Heart garland
Very simple heart garland. I use punchers for make the hearts (time saver, but I often think if kids should actually practice how to use scissors). Then I asked the kids to make their own design. I made 2 holes (it is pretty if you use 1/8 puncher) and put ribbon trough. You can make it whatever length you want.
Heart garland
I made another type of garland with heart shapes, this one is made out of paint samplers a store was getting rid off.
Garland from circles
I recycled old cards into a garland. I used my favorite puncher again (2" circle puncher) and small puncher for holes. Cotton string in somewhat matching color. This is mother-daughter project we enjoyed very much. Great for birthday parties.
Die cut outs
Once you are a proud owner of paper punchers your options for crafts are never ending....I use any paper really...leftovers from other projects, old folders, paint samplers, craft paper, magazines, books, maps etc...I punch away then and keep (or give away) the die cut outs with our craft supplies. Punching is a fantastic anger management by the way ;O).
One tip: Stick to acid free paper for photo albums and scrapbooks.
