Preserving old wallpaper
We live in old house, we discovered this old wallpaper under broken mirror and I wanted to preserve it. I simply framed it.
Kitchen makeover
We bought a house with massive kitchen island in the middle of kitchen. The fancy dining room is quite far from the kitchen. There was small space for dining nook in the kitchen, and we used it for a few years, but I was not happy.
The island too big, filled with junk, no room for legs, the marble was too cold for arms...yes I used it a lot, mostly for crafting ha ha.
Finally after few years we decided (I had to use all my negotiating skills on my husband) that large dining table instead of the island will look much better and will be more practical for us.
I am glad we made the change (I mean Sal my contractor's right hand).

Guest bedroom
This room used to be boys dream bedroom. very practical build in closet with bed on the top. However I was not too crazy about climbing up changing sheets. It made the room small and not welcoming.
We decided to remove it and use it as guest bedroom instead (no closet is good, guest can't stay too long ha ha).
This was such a satisfying project and I am very pleased with the result.

Back door makover
Kitchen doors before and after. GO GREEN! ;O)
I still need to paint the trim, but I am excited about being less conservative...planning to make green-ish curtains now...

Painting heater
I am glad I painted this heater. I painted it the same color as the wall, and I am very pleased.
I did some research before if it will affect the heat and it is minimal.

Garage doors "hinged up"
I found these fake hinges on line (made out of plastic sadly). I glued them to our garage doors and I think the transformation is amazing.
I did use glue gun because I wanted to do it fast and did not want to wait....that was a mistake. The first winter they all fell down.
So the second time around I used my best friend E 6000 (well second best friend, mod podge is and probably always be number one) . I taped the hinges over night and took of the tape next day. It worked fantastic. My last resort was screwing the hinges in, but I think I will not need to do that. They are hanging in there over 2 years now.
