Ink pen and water
I love spending time with the kids while working on the same project. I draw with ink pen and kids use water to make shades.
Having fun with alcohol
Rubbing alcohol that is ;O). I drew pictures (future cards) with ink pen and then dropped some rubbing alcohol on it. It is so much fun to see what the mix will create.
Drawing
Are you ever jealous of kids who just sit down and start drawing? I am, but I realized that nothing is stopping me from doing the same.
Piece of cake with this some amazing books and of course fun markers.
My girl and I spend many afternoons together. I draw and she colors.
I usually use card stock and make folded cards (I make sure they fit in envelopes). There are many opportunities to give these away....

Paper bunting
I found these cards with amazing edges, I cut the cute embossed triangles and made paper bunting.
Wooden door stoppers
Easy and practical project using leftover wooden pieces. The size of wood does no really matter but I used 4" by 2". They are good size to use and hang when not used, anything bigger maybe too bulky. Drill a hole trough the wider side, put a ribbon trough, make a knot and you are done!
Mountain range
We had leftover wood from stair case project. I had fun and made this mountain range. No I have no use for it ha ha.
Maybe necklace holder?

Leftover wood into necklace holder
I stained these wood leftovers, put felt on the bottom and used them as necklace display.
Wooden key chains
These key chains are made out of branches from our yard (yes I feel proud ha ha). I use wood burner to make the designs.
Kids saw me making these and wanted to make their own. You can see how theirs turned out here.
Supplies: pieces of wood, eye hooks, key rings, wood burner.

Beach theme gifts
I made these two beach theme hooks.

Then I screwed in the hooks, glued sea shells, letters ets...I added picture hanging bracket on the back and 2 pieces of felt in the corners on the bottom.
Supplies: wooden boards, paint, water, brush, rag (I use old T shirts), nobs, hooks, seas shells, letters, glue.

Yarn wall hanging
This is very satisfying project, the problem is when to stop ha ha.
I used 2 shades of yarn, cut strings in 4 feet length and tide them to a wooden rod. I made braids from some pieces and put wooden beads on a few. I think the best part about this project is that you can do whatever you want and you can't mess up, ha!

It was easy project and I am sure it will bring some joy and will be great conversation piece.

DIY dental care
Ha ha I am kidding of course. I am making donation tin for Historical Society.
I drilled the hole in the lid first, then cut it bigger and on the end attached duct tape to the edges just to make sure nobody gets a cut.
I love the idea that is is see trough, I believe it will encourage people to donate cash.
