About meHi guys, my name is Hana. I am mom of two, wife of one ha ha. I like to make things, flip things and upcycle. If the result product is pretty and practical it makes me super happy.
I love to spend time outside and I like to repurpose different materials. If you are not handy or don't have time to make your own handmade goods, check out my little shop here (coming soon!). English is my second language, forgive me if you find mistakes. Anybody welcome, hope you find some inspiration. Feel free to share the page and enjoy it. |
And still about me ;O).....
I grew up spending lots of time in nature and crafting with what we had. Nothing fancy, during communism (former Czechoslovakia) but that gave me a great life lesson: use what you have and think outside of the box. I learned to improvise and I am thankful for that.
I am very fortunate to spend time with people who taught me to appreciate natural materials and not mix them with plastic and fake stuff.
When I worked outside of the home I found less and less time to create. Fortunately I had few jobs that had creative side and was surrounded by creative people. But I can also grow produce, cook, milk a cow and deliver babies ha ha.
When kids were small I decided to stay at home and started my own facebook group. Mostly I wanted to share ideas how to be frugal, how to be green, and creative. I am am thrilled to see how many people I inspired and how many people share their ideas with me.
I am working on this web site now and I am hoping to have all ideas organized for many to use. I hope you can use some. I will post about simplifying our lives, living in tune with nature, playing, creating and doing all simple way. I have minimalism and waste free life style on my mind and will try to share some ideas with you.
We have a two kids (one of each), a large house and a big garden, and oh so many on my to do list. As I attack the list it I will share.
Hope you enjoy this site and keep coming back for more ;O). Thanks Hana
